    The Potholes.

This part of the trail was called the Potholes by veteran hikers because of how rough the grade was. Pothole Falls can be seen through the trees mid photo.

The last major waterfall on the Eagle Creek Trail #440 is 7 1/2 Mile Falls, which is just a short distance from the very popular 7 1/2 Mile Camp, an area with multiple primitive campsites and a resting point for Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers on there way to Cascade Locks.

Located just past Metlako Falls, this is a great place for a break on hot summer afternoons and a popular "watering hole" for hikers.

Located just after 4 1/2 Mile Bridge, most hikers never see this unique smaller waterfall, which lies through the trees from the trail.

This area was another great place for refilling your water bottles and taking a peaceful break before finishing the last couple miles to 7 1/2 Mile Camp.

Cool dripping water and lush green ferns made the tunnel underneath Tunnel Falls a haven for rest on hot summer days.
